The Redmi K50 family is getting a new member: a Redmi K50 Ultra. The new smartphone will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, according to Digital Chat Station, a credible leakster from the company’s homeland.
The K50 Ultra will retain most of the K50 Pro’s specs, including 100W + fast charging, but will have a 50MP main camera, which will be a resolution downgrade over the K50 Pro and K50 Gaming, but we’re probably looking at a larger sensor.

The Redmi K50 Ultra will be one of the Xiaomi flagships in the second half of the year. The phone will have an OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD + resolution, as well as DC attenuation so that the panel is pleasing to the eye.
The panel will come with a single hole for the camera and will be flat with ever so light curves for easier handling.
The battery is said to have a charge of between 4,800mAh and 5,000mAh, and it’s an easy bet that it will come with Xiaomi’s 120W fast charging, spotted in many Mi and Redmi phones, launched last year.
