Learn chess
If you are still learning chess, the way the game is set up makes it easy to learn. When you select your character, the board immediately highlights your move options. When you successfully get a token across the board, you are given a list of different types of upgrades you can make to it.
While no real detailed guide is provided on how to play chess, Chessaria offers you the necessary introduction to the board and its pieces to enable you to discover your strategy.
Once you have won or lost, the screen provided also helps you to improve. You are given additional information on how many pieces you have captured and how many your opponent has captured from you. With each round, you can try to reduce the number of pieces you have to sacrifice for your victory, making yourself a better player in the end.

Final verdict
As a tactic-based puzzle game, Chessaria sends you on numerous adventures and forces you to reimagine the way you see chess. Bring back memories of the classic Battle Chess game, one of the earliest introductions to the game of chess on a living chessboard with pieces that were more than just pieces.
Chessaria: The Tactical Adventure continues that legacy, while also managing to be both calming and invigorating. You will find yourself replaying scenarios to see if you can beat your score, but without the sense of frustration that would normally come with losing. Whether you’re playing as High Elves, Dark Elves or Orcs, you find yourself motivated to win.
