Game

Outside of the customization and build options, Crossout is a pretty straightforward game to get to grips with. It’s as easy as driving towards your opponents and pointing your guns in the right place. A responsive and intuitive control system makes this experience relatively painless.

The only thing to keep in mind is that you need to be constantly on the go. Otherwise, chances are you will be detonated before you even know what hit you.

While similar games ask you to be thoughtful or careful in your approach, Crossout revels in kinky action. There is little drama for that, but the game is always filled with thrilling moments. The constant thought of not knowing what will happen next keeps you in the balance throughout the game.

Mode

There are several modes available for players. Missions mode is the first you can choose and serves as an introduction to the game mechanics. Puts lower tier players against each other in standard game types. These include deathmatches and objective-based modes where you have to capture an enemy base. Once you level up enough, you will have access to the other modes.

There are raids, which is a cooperative PvE mode, as well as free-for-all brawls and competitive ranked matches. You can also take part in Clan Battles if you are part of a clan.

Each game mode has its strengths and weaknesses. Ranked is a great way to test your skills, but the opponents are much tougher. Clan battles offer a more focused style of play, but they aren’t as thrilling as large-scale matches.
