Spotify has found a way to make contributing to collaborative playlists more engaging and fun: emoji reactions. With it, contributors to a playlist can react to others’ additions with ❤️, 😂, 👍, 🎧, 🔥, and 🥹.
The person who added the song will receive a notification on Spotify messages, letting them know what other members of the group think about the song. This is for insiders only, though, only the collaborative playlist owner and contributors can see reactions.

Collaborative playlists in Spotify now support emoji reactions
And if that doesn’t sound like a good idea, you can turn off emoji reactions for collaborative playlists you own. For collaborative playlists with fewer than 10 editors, reactions are enabled by default; For playlists created by larger groups, the owner must manually enable the feature.
Spotify has added many playlist-related features. You can import playlists from competing services, have AI generate lists for you, add custom transitions between songs, and more. The streamer is also developing new podcast features and audiobook features. It’s also added a fitness center — it’s trying to make Spotify an integral part of your daily routine.
