Uninstalling the app and reinstalling the new APK seems to have fixed the issue. I was able to login to Facebook and restore my progress.

Hmm. Works fine for me but I also installed it over the old mod. I heard some people had issues if they never installed the original game from Google play before.

It appears that whoever uploaded the apk didn't sign it for whatever reason. You can resign it with lucky patcher but then the app crashes after opening it.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong on my end, but regardless of which option is selected, I am still only getting the normal amount of gems/xp when leveling up. Like if I complete a mission for 100 potions, it still only gives me 100, even if extreme mode is turned on
