Have you tried the phone settings? You can enable installation from unknown sources on your phone's security settings. If it's disabled you really won't be able tp install apks downloaded other than appstores

you really need a facebook account for choices to save your progress. even if you chose google account it will be useless cause your game won't get saved and you'll have to start over. that happened to me before, so now i make sure to link my facebook account to save my game progress.

Me too. I can use the app even if there's a newer version. I think I used one before and then Choice poped up on my screen saying to update for a newer version. but it was like after 2-3 weeks of their update
