A dark and gritty game where you play as a Private Investigator in the near future where paying users can rent the "virtual experience" at the expense of someone else.
When a suicide case buried deep in the world of virtual experience, will you be able to solve it?
Review:
A very fluid and immersive story where you can only trust yourself. Although given a choice, you can't really not pick a side when the game comes to an end, which is a bit disappointing. Romance is handled quite nicely, with it not being too fast or too slow.
Unfortunately, the stats don't seem to matter that much in this game, as you don't really see much choices which correlates with any or at all with the stats. Also, the game is only 150k words long, so cramming a whole new world that we never experienced to just that amount might not suit some of the readers.
The story doesn't have that much plot holes in it, which is great, and continuity is pretty much guaranteed here. Romance can either start at the middle of the game or somewhere near the end, depending on who you decided to romance, and it feels really immersive no matter who you romance.
Finally, this game has a story which is pretty good for a short story and can be finished in around one or two sitting, and it is definitely worth your money, it didn't become the finalist for an award for nothing after all.
