I recently bought a router and it is not connecting easily. I use a Windows operating system and the details of the router are Netgear Powerline support

I realize this is obvious but have you reset the box itself? Usually you find a small (pin size) place to reset the box completely

yes every router box in the back there is a small hole with a pin or a toothpick u can insert in that hole and hold it for 5 to 10 seconds u should feel a clik in there while pressing it, it when all the lights start moving release the toothpick or the pin or what ever ur using, once all lights are moving in a patern u need to wait for all lights to connect, if that dont work power off the box for 5 min and restart it and see, if that dont work either u need to contact the support of that box.
