The instant messaging platform updates and evolves again and, to break the news, it was the founder of the company Meta, Mark Zuckerberg. The founding genius of Facebook talked about new functions, some already active, others still being tested for Whatsapp users.

There have been many updates over the years of the application that hides even small ones tricks and secrets that many do not know. The Meta company seems to be trying to protect the safety and privacy of users more and more. In fact, attempts to scam, deceive and even theft of sensitive data are also multiplying on Whatsapp.
Zuckerberg, with a post on Facebook, announced that he is looking for new ways to protect messages in users’ chat, making them as private as face-to-face conversations. Here are the new features of Whatsapp.
Whatsapp and the new privacy features: you can do everything “secretly”
The first innovation presented is the one that concerns Whatsapp groups. Until now, leaving a group created a certain embarrassment also because everyone would have seen our “escape” from the chat. Well now it will be possible to leave a group any secretly, without everyone being able to see it: the only ones to be aware of it will be the administrators.
Another highly anticipated new feature is that will allow you to choose your contacts that they can see when we are connecting to Whatsapp and, therefore, we are online. You can select, and deselect, who will be able to see us connected to the application or not.
Among the various functions there is a particular one which, however, is still in the testing phase. One-time viewable messages are already available, as are photos and multimedia content. To protect even more user privacy it will be shortly the possibility to block is available screenshots for this type of message, so that it is not possible to keep them in any way on devices.
These are new ways to protect the privacy of messages in addition to those already present, such as the ability to block unwanted contacts and report them or see who blocked us on Whatsapp.
