Google will finally open its first physical store outside the United States “this summer.” The company announced that the store will open in Omotesando, Tokyo, Japan, more precisely on the first floor of Omokado in Tokyu Plaza.
The store will sell Pixel devices, Nest products, Fitbit devices, and accessories, and will also offer “the latest AI experiences,” whatever that means. Additionally, the store will serve as a pickup point for orders placed from Google’s online store in Japan.

Dedicated staff will be available to help troubleshoot Google products. On-site Pixel repairs will also be offered, as well as initial setup assistance.
Japan is important to Google because it was where it first opened a foreign office outside of the United States. The company is very grateful to its Japanese customers who have supported it for so many years. This store appears to be the first of many more to come, including in other countries.
