vivo announced the Dimensity 700-powered Y75 5G earlier this year and followed the Helio G96-powered Y75 4G a few months later. Today, the company has expanded its Y series with the introduction of the Y75, with the Dimensity 700 chip at the helm.
The MediaTek SoC is paired with up to 12GB of RAM, and the smartphone has 256GB of built-in storage with the ability to expand it up to 1TB via a microSD card. On the software front, you get OriginOS Ocean based on the dated Android 11 instead of Android 12 (we don’t expect Android 13 out of the box).

The vivo Y75s is built around a 6.58 “FullHD + LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sample rate, and 401ppi pixel density. The panel also has a camera notch. 8MP selfie, with the 64MP main camera positioned within an island rectangle on the back, flanked by an 8MP ultrawide unit and a 2MP macro unit.
The rest of the highlights of the vivo Y75s include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C. The smartphone also has 5G connectivity and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. If this all sounds familiar, it’s because the vivo Y75s is a version of the Y72 5G (not the Indian variant) launched last March with a camera. 16MP selfie.

The vivo Y75s is available in two colors and memory options: 8GB / 256GB and 12GB / 256GB. The former is priced at CNY1,899 ($ 272 / € 274) while the latter costs CNY2,199 ($ 315 / € 318). Both models are listed on vivo’s official Chinese website, but the date of sale is unknown.
