Developer Turn 10 wants players to help improve their next Forza Motorsport 8 title. To that end, they’re giving players the option to request a closed playtest of the game.
Playtest invitations will be given to players who participate in a Forza feedback panel. Among the information gathered by the panel and the playtests, Turn 10 hopes to create a better final game.
According to Creative Director Chris Esaki in an interview with Forza Monthly, this means a new direction for the developers and the franchise. They want to collect and implement more player feedback, which is why they have been running regular gaming tests with Xbox Game Studios.
Esaki explained that their goal is to “fine-tune our details and get the race right for everyone”. And he pointed out that signing up for the panel will open up more opportunities to try this game early.
“We will continue to plan this type of testing as we go in the months to come and will involve more and more people from the community and enjoying this experience. So, once again, step into those Forza panels and you’ll actually be able to get a glimpse of the new or part of the new Forza Motorsport. “
Are you interested in signing up? All you have to do is apply online today. And considering that the final game is expected to run in 4K at 60fps and make solid use of ray tracing, this is a title worth checking out beforehand.
