Samsung is hosting the first Unpacked event for 2023 today and we will see the announcement of the Galaxy S23 flagships. We’re also expecting five new Galaxy Book3 notebooks: vanilla and Pro, each with a different 360-degree hinge variant and a top-of-the-line Ultra version.
The event starts at 18:00 UTC, which is 13:00 EST/19:00 CET/23:30 IST. There will be a live stream, which we will add below when the time comes.
The Galaxy S23 series will include a vanilla Galaxy S23, a slightly larger Galaxy S23+, and a Galaxy S23 Ultra with Samsung’s latest 200MP camera. The three have been leaked multiple times, revealing that Samsung is ditching the corner island design in the non-Ultras and going for a cleaner look with just the lenses sticking out the back.
All these devices are expected to have a globally customized Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and bring the end of the reign of Exynos in some markets.
