After weeks of teasers, Realme has finally announced its GT Neo 5 SE in China. The new device shares some of its key specs with the regular GT Neo5, albeit with three key differences in the chipset, camera and battery departments.

The Realme GT Neo 5 SE offers a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2772 x 1240px and a refresh rate of 144Hz. There is a 16MP selfie cam housed in the hole punch and an optical fingerprint scanner under the display.

GT Neo 5 SE features Qualcomm’s latest 7-series chipset – the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 along with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The camera department features a 64MP main sensor along with an 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP microscope lens.

The other notable difference between the GT Neo 5 and the new SE model are the battery capacity and charging speeds. The SE model offers a 5,500mAh capacity compared to the GT Neo 5’s 5,000mAh and charges at 100W speeds compared to the GT Neo 5’s 150W solution. The software side is handled by Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android 13.

Realme GT Neo 5 SE is available in blue and black colors. Prices in China start at CNY 2,099 ($305) for the 8/256GB version and go up to CNY 2,799 ($406) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version. Open sales in China begin on April 10.
