Garmin just updated its sleek Venu series with the Venu 3 and Venu 3S. Starting at €500/$450, the smartwatches offer Garmin’s usual might in terms of health and fitness tracking features. For starters, the Venu 3 duo can detect naps and add them to your overall sleep tracking. This tracking is sophisticated with Pulse Ox (blood oxygen) and HRV (heart rate variability) monitoring.
Like other Garmin watches, Venu 3 displays a Body Battery with a scale of 1 to 100% that depends on daily effort.
Another new feature is Wheelchair Mode, which tracks daily pushes instead of steps and provides weight shift alerts.

The Garmin Venu 3 has an always-on 1.4″ AMOLED screen, while the Venu 3S has a slightly smaller 1.2″ screen. The watches accept standard 22mm and 18mm straps respectively. The case is made of fiber-reinforced polymer, while the bezel is made of stainless steel. The glass above is Gorilla Glass 3.

The Venu 3 is now on sale in 45mm finishes and White/Silver and Black/Slate color schemes, while the 41mm Venu 3S offers Pebble Grey/Slate, Sage Grey/Silver, French Grey/Soft Gold, Dusty Rose/Gold pale and ivory/soft gold combinations.
