We’re less than a month away from the official unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 on July 10, and now we can see a hands-on video of what appears to be a Galaxy Z Fold6 mannequin.

The video confirms what has already been seen in numerous leaked renderings of the device. Compare the Z Fold6 mannequin to a real Z Fold5 and the differences in the bodies are quite noticeable.

We immediately see that the Z Fold6 takes on a boxier design with sharp corners, similar to that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The external screen is wider and has noticeably thinner bezels. This year the main display will also have thinner bezels, although the difference is not as noticeable.

The side frame is now completely flat. There are no bends, but the hinge design looks exactly the same – no changes.

The new camera island has a cleaner design and the camera lenses are flush with the island. It looks nicer that way.

Last but not least, the video shows the new Z Fold6, which is about a millimeter thinner than its predecessor. The current Z Fold5 measures 13.5mm thick, while the Z Fold6 is 12.5mm. Whether this would make a big difference in hand remains to be seen.
