Coloros 15, which made its debut with the Oppo Find X8 series, introduced the O+ Connect function which allows Oppo phones to easily share files with iPhone and iPad. Now, with the launch of Oppo Find N5, the company is introducing O+ Connect for Mac.
In its simplest, this allows you to view, move, search and delete the files on your phone from your Mac or Macbook. You can view the files without copying them, for example by looking at your recent photos. You can also use the computer to edit files and any modification will be automatically sent to the phone.

This functionality works locally, you just have to have the Mac and the N5 research connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You can manage photos, videos, notes and documents. Wireless networking is quite zippy these days: for example you can move 100 photos from your phone to your computer in just 8 seconds.
O+ Connect for Mac also has a remote desktop function called remote Mac control. You can use the 8.12 “Oppo Find N5 display of N5 to view the macOS desktop or you can bend the phone at 90 ° – this divides the screen so that the upper half macOS monsters and the lower half will turn into into A touchpad that supports all the same gestures such as Apple TouchPads.
The interesting thing is that the remote Mac control function also works in divided -ulal screen mode, OPPO has shown how it is possible to drag a file from the macOS desktop and let it fall into WhatsApp to share it.

Oppo is working on an update for O+ Connect for Mac, which will allow access to your Mac files directly from the phone file app. This will allow you to skip the remote desktop connection if you just want to copy or share a file from your computer.
Windows users can take a look at Oppo Connect, which brings further integration between the Oppo smartphone and Windows PC above what Microsoft has already done.
