Tecno announced the 40 truck series during this year’s MWC in Barcelona at the beginning of this month and the company has now confirmed its commitment to keeping the updated series longer.

Tecno promised 3 generational updates of the operating system and 5 years of security patches. Since all the phones are launched with Android 15 out of the box, you can expect the latest OTA update to be Android 18.
It is somehow expected for the 40 Premier truck to receive 3 important updates of the operating system, but the rest of the series devices, the 40 Pro truck, 40 Pro 5g and the 40 truck vanilla should all be with very low prices, so get three important Android updates is a nice bonus.
By the way, we still don’t have the exact prices or the exact details of availability. But the 40 Pro 5g truck review announces an exciting device.
