Halloween inside Fortnite it is incomplete without Jack-o’-lantern. These lanterns are a symbolic item and are part of the Halloween celebrations every year. These items have also made their way into Fortnite through the Fortnitemares Event 2022. They are part of an in-game mission after which players will receive rewarded XP.
Where to find Jack-o’-lantern in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4
The Jack-o’-lanterns mission is part of the Fortnitemares event, and these items can be found all over the island in Fortnite. Although these lanterns are scattered throughout the map, they are generally found in certain locations. Look for jack-o’-lanterns in the following places:
- One in Willow’s Haunt northwest of the Tree of Reality
- One at the Scratch Pad west of the Tree of Reality
- Four in different houses in Greasy Grove
- One south of Flutter Barn
- One east of Chonker’s Speedway
- One on the southern tip of the island below Chonker’s Speedway
- One in the house north of Chonker’s Speedway
- Southeast of Fort Jonesy
- Four in different houses in Fort Jonesy
- Three in the eastern island homes of Herald’s Sanctum
- One to the houses to the northeast, north and northwest of Lustrous Lagoon
- Two in houses on the east side of Shiny Sound
- One in the house with a maze northwest of Shiny Sound
The Jack-o’-lanterns mission requires players to gather at least five of them to complete the challenge. These classic Halloween lanterns can be found in abundance on the map. Players should remember to start from a larger POI. Once they have started from a large POI, players can then move on to the smaller houses. Lanterns are generally found outside homes.
Once a lantern is found, players will have to destroy it with a ranged weapon. Destroying five of these lanterns will give you 15,000 XP it’s a Free spray. There are several types of ranged weapons found in Fortnite. Get any gun like that Hammerhead assault rifle, Cobra DMR or a sniper rifle to destroy a Jack-o’-lantern.
