Version 2.8 from Genshin Impact presents the replica of Golden apple archipelago in the Summer Odyssey event. The event will last 40 days until end of version 2.8. With Kazuha, Xinian, Fischl the traveler and Paimon will guide players through Summertime Odyssey will be the main event of the current version in Genshin Impact.

- Adventure grade 32 or higher
- Completion Chapter 2 – Prologue Archon quest

The Summertime Odyssey event has five different phases in Genshin Impact.
1. Surfpiercer event

During the Surf piercer challenge, players must navigate the wave rider and follow the objectives to pass through the Golden track banners and reach the final destination.

- Blackberry x 180,000
- Spirit of the Hero x 12

2. Phantom Realm: misty hills, misty valleys

Players must complete the courtyard in the spring when one appears to unlock this first Kaedehara Kazuha based domain. Travelers must defeat a horde of enemies to take on this challenge and earn rewards such as primogem and Iridescent Flotsam, which they can use to trade in the event shop later on.

The event will start on July 19, 2022.
