Exile and the gifted rose is a new chain of world quests added in Sumeru update for version 3.1 from Genshin Impact. After completing the Exile world mission, players will unlock the A gifted rose search in the chain. How to start and complete The Exile and The Gifted Rose World Quest in Genshin Impact
To the village of Aaru
When you visit Aru village, a world mission marker will appear on your minimap. This will take you to a named NPC Saturday which strikingly resembles Catherine. This is the beginning of a long chain of timed missions.
It will take 7 days total in the real world to complete this quest chain, so be patient. You will have to wait for the daily reset each day to advance to the next part of the quest chain. Daily reset refers to the server reset time when you receive new daily commissions.
The Exile: Sprouting Quest (Day 1)
- Talk to Sabbah in Aaru Village.
- Use dendro attacks on the 3 flowers.
- Talk to Sabbah to complete the mission and get 30 Primogems.
The Exile: Blooming Quest (day 2)
- Wait for the daily reset.
- Visit Aru village and talk to Saturday. Initially, there will be no mission markers. After talking to her once, she will appear. He talks to her again.
- Use dendro on the 3 flowers.
- Talk to Sabbah to complete the mission and get 30 Primogems.
A Gifted Rose: Prickly as Thorns Quest (continues day two)
- Talk to Sabbah right after the end of “Exile: flowering”. Give her a Sumeru Rose.
- Teleport to the Aaru village waypoint and glide northeast, land on the nearest mountain you see.
- Move up the mountain using the Four-leaf clover. After you get to the top, keep moving north until a world mission icon appears on the minimap.
Note: If you come here after finishing “The Exile: Blooming” without talking to Sabbah, it won’t work. You must have given Sabbah a Sumeru Rose after finishing it, otherwise this quest will not trigger.
- Follow the world mission icon and talk to Affan.
- You will need to visit a nursery which will be marked on the map. Put a pin on this location as you will have to return here later along the quest chain.
- Clean the wilt area at the nursery.
- Go back and talk to Affan to complete the mission and get 40 Primogems.
A gifted rose: long day ahead (day 3)
- Wait for the daily reset. Visit Affan’s location and talk to him. Initially, there will be no mission markers. After talking to him, he will appear. Talk to him again.
- Use hydro attacks on flowers. This will end the search.
- Talk to Affan one last time to activate the next part of the mission the next day and get 30 Primogems.
A gifted rose: Can Stones Bloom Quest (day 4)
- After the daily reset, visit Affan’s location and talk to him. This time there will be a mission marker.
- Use hydro attacks on flowers just like the previous day. This will end the quest and players will receive 30 Primogems.
- Talk to Affan again to activate the next part of the mission the next day.
- Go to Aaru’s village and talk to Sabbah. To select “About Affan”. Finish talking to her and wait for the daily reset.
A Gifted Rose: Ballad of the Days Gone By Quest (day 5)
- After the daily reset, visit Affan’s location and you will also see Sabbah there. There will be a mission marker on Affan. Talk with him.
- Use heavy attacks (claymore) to break seeds and use dendron on them. This will end the quest and players will receive 30 Primogems.
A gifted rose: some people never fade away (day 6)
- After the daily reset, visit Affan’s location. This time there will be a mission marker on Sabbah, which is standing next to Affan. Talk to her.
- Use dendro on seeds. A cutscene will trigger, showing the seeds blooming into golden roses.
- This will terminate the search and assign the result “Engraved” and 30 Primogem.
- Talk to Affan and select “on the popular song”.
The Exile and The Gifted Rose World Quest – The Finale Part I (Day 6)
- The “Rose as a gift” the series is officially over but there is another hidden part in this quest chain.
- Teleport to the “Dune of Exclusion” waypoint and head south. You will see cacti at the base of a mountain. In the center is a flower seed. Break it using heavy attacks. Investigate it and get the Golden Rose seed.
- Teleport to the waypoint northeast of the “Duna delle Carose” and head towards it. In front of the “Dune of Carouses”, there is another one Golden rose seed surrounded by cactus. Break it up and pick it up.
- Teleport to the “Garden of Infinite Pillars” domain. Head south and find another Golden Rose seed, but this time it’s not surrounded by cacti. Look for a red flower and turn right to find the seed. Break it up and pick it up.
- Return to the nursery visited “A gifted rose: thorny like thorns.” There will be 3 holes in the ground, plant the 3 seeds you just collected in the desert. Use the dendron on them after planting.
The Exile and The Gifted Rose World Quest – The Finale Part II (Day 7)
- After the daily reset, visit the daycare and apply Dendro to seeds. They will bloom Golden roses but you cannot collect them.
- Visit Affan‘s location and talk to him to complete the quest. There will be no mission markers. This mission does not appear in the mission log, but completing it will give rewards like the rest of the mission chain, 30 Primogems.
