Apple’s brand new iPhone 14 is now being assembled in India at the Foxconn plant near Chennai. This marks the first time Apple has produced one of its latest generation iPhones a few weeks after its announcement. The first batch of India-made iPhone 14 units is expected to hit shelves by the end of the year.

Apple began assembling iPhones in India in 2017 with the first generation iPhone SE model. We have since seen most of the major release iPhones made in India with the iPhone 13 being the last one before the iPhone 14.
The new iPhone 14 line introduces revolutionary new technologies and important security capabilities. We will produce iPhone 14 in India.
Apple will save on import duties with its newly made iPhones in India. Looking ahead, JP Morgan predicts that Apple could produce up to 25% of all iPhones in India by 2025.
