According to reports, Apple is preparing a slight update to his vision pro headphones and this will be available “already this year”. Although it will not be an important update, a new chipset will show off, the M4, which will be a nice improvement compared to the M2 that feeds the original Vision Pro. He will also get more core for his neural engine.
The new headset will be sent with a new strap that will allow it to wear it for longer periods more endured in some way, reducing the neck voltage and head pain. This should improve things without making hardware lighter.
This will only arrive in 2027 with a redesigned vision pro, which should be significantly lighter. Until then, the model coming this year is intended as an arrest, keeping Apple relevant in the cap market despite its huge price and comfort problems (which could be alleviated in some way in the updated model).
So far Apple has sold only a few hundred thousands of vision pro units, which is a small number for a device that should have been the future of information technology. It is, however, difficult to be that when you are a literal tension for people’s head and neck, not to mention their wallets.
