If you’ve read our Sony Xperia 10 IV review you already know that the relatively small Android phone is a champion of battery life. However, as Will explains in our video review below, there is a trade-off to be made.
The 5,000 mAh battery is extremely slow to charge – it takes 2.5 hours. The phone appears to support fast charging of around 20W, but it didn’t use it in our tests, staying close to the 10W mark for nearly the entire charge cycle.

We tested several chargers and got the same results • The cameras have improved processing
The Mark 4 improves upon the Mark 3 in several aspects, such as a brighter screen with Gorilla Glass Victus, a more reliable telephoto lens, OIS for primary and improved processing. However, it has missed out on some features that should be standard on a 2022 mid-ranger such as faster charging, a high refresh rate, or 4K video recording (this is actually a regression from last year).
Is the Xperia 10 IV worth the € 500 that Sony charges it? Our video review offers arguments for and against Mark 4 to help you make your decision.
