Google Pixel 8 screen diagonals leaked yesterday, and today we have images of the phones in protective cases. The renders don’t reveal any new info that we haven’t reported before but they are further confirmation of how the phones look.
Google Pixel 8
The Google Pixel 8, pictured in a clear case, looks a lot like its predecessor, the Pixel 7, with both cameras behind dark, pill-shaped glass. Yesterday we learned that the size of the phone may be smaller due to an expected decrease in the screen diagonal, but the camera island will remain a horizontal strip, protruding from the back.
Google Pixel 8 Pro
The Google Pixel 8 Pro is pictured in a blue rubber case with Alcantara lining on the inside, but again it doesn’t reveal anything new: all three cameras will be together, while the laser AF and LED flash will be on the right side . The case will also have a slot for a lanyard, but the image quality is quite low, begging the question of whether it’s real or just a fan render.
