Last year’s Samsung Galaxy S25 series introduced 15W wireless charging via the Qi2 standard, which provided no speed advantage over previous generations. It looks like the next Galaxy S26 series will do so, or at least the S26 Ultra, as we now have our first look at the upcoming Samsung Magnet wireless charger.

Images shared by Sam Mobile show the accessory, which has the model number EP-P2900BBEGWW. It supports the Qi2 wireless charging standard and is designed to deliver speeds of up to 25W. This likely refers to the Qi2.2 setup, which was finalized by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) last year and goes up to 25W of speed.
The charger consists of a wireless charging puck, connected to a braided USB-C cable, and will apparently come in a single black color. The accessory packaging specifically states that you need an official Samsung 45W power adapter or a 45W top power adapter (PPS 20V spec) to reach the 25W peak speed.

For the magic to happen, users will also need a Qi2-compatible case with magnetic power profile (MPP) alignment. The packaging also mentions that it’s compatible with the Galaxy S25 series or later models with a magnetic case, and of course it should also work with other Qi2/MagSafe smartphones like the iPhone 12 and later, Pixel 10 and later, and HMD Skyline.
This isn’t the first Qi2 accessory for the S26 series, as we recently saw images of Samsung’s Qi2 power bank, which is supposed to offer up to 15W of wireless charging and 20W via compatible USB-C cables.
