Huawei unveiled a new smartphone on its website: the nova Y90 midranger. It has a large screen, large battery with fast charging, and an LTE-only Snapdragon 680 chipset.

The front panel is a 6.7-inch LCD with Full HD + resolution. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sample rate. There is a hole in the center for a single camera that has an 8MP sensor behind the f / 2.0 lens.

The 50MP f / 1.8 main camera on the back is flanked by a couple of 2MP shots for macro and depth. They are mounted on an oval shaped island and have a single LED flash to keep them company.

The Huawei nova Y90 packs a 5,000mAh power cell with support for 40W SuperCharge, and the company promises a 50% charge in just 30 minutes.

On the software side we have the EMUI 12 but Huawei does not say which version of Android it is based on. It supports distributed file system via Huawei Computer Manager which allows the device to connect to a Matebook laptop and access files without a cable.

Huawei nova Y90 has a version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and three color choices: Crystal Blue, Pearl White, Emerald Green and Midnight Black. The official website says nothing about pricing and availability at this stage.
