Huawei capped off a big event today where it unveiled its latest foldable smartphone – the Mate Xs 2, as well as several smartwatches and fitness trackers. The Mate Xs 2 was the star of the show and will arrive in European markets in June for € 1,999 in white, black and purple. The device was previously launched in China in April.

Huawei’s latest fold-out packs a 7.8-inch OLED with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 px and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Once folded, the panel shrinks to 6.5 inches easier to use with one hand.

Despite the large size, the Mate Xs 2 weighs 255 grams – considerably less than its predecessor – Huawei’s Mate Xs (300g) and Mate X2 (295g). The new Mate Xs 2 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 4G chipset and comes in a single 8GB RAM and 512GB of storage.
