Huawei just added another mid-ranger to its nova smartphone series today, namely the nova Y91. Perhaps its most distinguishing feature is the iPhone-like notch. The huge camera island on the back can’t be easily ignored either.
The Huawei nova Y91 features a large 6.95-inch 1080×2376 LCD touchscreen with 90Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC at the helm, 8GB RAM, 128 o 256GB of storage and a whopping 7,000mAh battery that charges at 22.5W with the supplied brick.

On the back is a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies you get an 8MP shooter out front. The phone runs Huawei’s EMUI 13 and doesn’t support 5G or Wi-Fi 6. It has Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB-C port, but no 3.5mm headphone jack.

The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button. The nova Y91 will be available in Moonlight Silver and Starry Black. It measures 171.6 x 79.9 x 8.9mm and weighs 214g. It’s not yet clear how much this device will cost or when it will be available.
