The technological perspective in collaboration with @evleaks has published a large leak on the upcoming Moto G53 and G73. We are talking about the global versions, since the G53 has already been released in China.
Either way, the Moto G73 looks the same as the current Moto G72 in terms of design and will also be made of plastic. The color shown in the renders is Meteorite Grey.

Hardware-wise, the device features a 6.5-inch, 120Hz IPS LCD panel with 1080p x 2400px resolution. A MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC will run the show alongside 6 or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of expandable internal storage.

There are two rear cameras: the main 50 MP f / 1.8 supported by an 8 MP f / 2.2 ultrawide. The selfie camera is 16MP with f/2.4 aperture.

A 5,000mAh battery will keep the lights on, supporting 30W TurboPower charging. More importantly, both devices boot to Android 13 out of the box.

The cheaper Moto G53 adopts a similar design language, but makes do with a Snapdragon 480+ SoC, which is still enough to drive the 6.5-inch, 1600 x 720px IPS LCD panel at 120Hz. Memory and storage are limited to 6GB and 128GB respectively. The base configuration is 4GB/64GB.
The camera setup on the back is rather modest: 50MP, f/1.8 main snapper paired with a 2MP macro unit, while the one on the front is 8MP, f/2.0.

The hardware would draw power from the 5,000mAh cell itself, supporting less-than-ideal 10W charging.
Judging by the press images, both phones boast stereo speakers and some sort of advanced gaming mode. The G73 also has Dolby Atmos sound.
Interestingly, this report contradicts what we had last month on the Moto G53. Something tells us we won’t be guessing for much longer as the report hints at an imminent Indian launch.
