Last week, Samsung Colombia accidentally confirmed the launch date of the Galaxy S23 while setting up an event page on its website for the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1, 2023. That page was later taken down, but the conglomerate Korean today sent out invitations for its Galaxy Unpacked 2023 Event on February 1, which will start at 18:00 UTC.

The Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event will be held in San Francisco, which will be the first in-person Unpacked event in three years since the COVID-19 pandemic began. It will also be broadcast live on Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel for those who were unable to attend.

Samsung didn’t explicitly mention the Galaxy S23 in its official announcement, but its post reads, “A new era of Galaxy innovation is upon us. Our innovations are designed to bring incredible possibilities to people today and beyond. The new Galaxy series S will be the epitome of how we define the ultimate premium experience. We’re raising the bar and setting new standards for what is epic.” This confirms that the company will unveil the Galaxy S23 range on February 1st.

The Galaxy S23 series is expected to consist of three smartphones: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Ultra model is said to have a 200MP camera.

Samsung is also expected to unveil new laptops, but there is no news from the brand yet on any new notebooks or smartphones. However, you can expect Samsung to drop some teasers on upcoming products ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1st.
