Ahead of MWC Barcelona, ​​HMD has announced a new entry-level device called the Nokia C02. The phone features a modest spec sheet and some nice features like a removable battery, an IP52 rating, and a headphone jack.

Nokia C02 features a 5.45-inch LCD display with FWVGA+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. There is a 2MP front camera and a single 5MP rear camera on the back which sits above the LED flash. The phone features a polycarbonate frame and back with a nano-textured texture that opens to reveal the replaceable 3,000mAh battery, as well as dual SIM slots and microSD card slot. The C02 charges via the dated microUSB connector at speeds up to 5W.

The chipset department is handled by an unnamed quad-core SoC with a clock speed of 1.4GHz. It is joined by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The software side is covered by Android 12 (Go edition) and you get two years of security updates.

Nokia C02 will be available in Dark Cyan and Charcoal colors. Pricing and availability details are yet to be announced.
