Oppo A57s and A57e become official – similar phones with different cameras

Oppo has added two new smartphones to its A57 range, called the A57s and A57e, which are similar smartphones with some differences.

Let’s talk about the Oppo A57 first. It’s powered by the Helio G35 SoC, runs Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1, and comes in a single 4GB / 64GB memory configuration. However, the RAM expansion feature allows you to virtually add 4GB of more RAM using the smartphone’s internal memory, and the phone also has a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 1TB.

The Oppo A57s is built around a 6.56 “HD + resolution LCD. It is protected by Panda Glass and has an 8MP selfie camera notch. The main camera – which uses a 50MP sensor – is positioned inside the rectangular island on the back with a 2 MP monochrome unit and an LED flash.

The Oppo A57s is IP54 rated, has an integrated NFC chip and features a side-mounted fingerprint reader for unlocking without a password. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, ultra-linear stereo speakers, and Dirac 3.0 audio.

Keeping the whole package up and running is a 5,000mAh battery charged via a USB-c port up to 33W. If this all sounds familiar, it’s because the Oppo A57s is a version of the Oppo A57 4G available in India. . The latter sports a 13MP main camera and has more memory options, but it doesn’t come with NFC and stereo speakers.

The Oppo A57s is available in Starry Black and Sky Blue colors. It is listed on Oppo’s Croatian website, but nothing is known about its pricing and availability.

Oppo A57e

We have already mentioned that the A57s and A57e are similar smartphones. Well, the Oppo A57e is basically the A57s with a 13MP main camera with no built-in stereo or NFC speakers. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.2 instead of 5.3.

You can also call the Oppo A57e a version of the A57 4G with Bluetooth 5.2 and a single memory option: 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The Oppo A57e is available in green and black colors and is available for purchase in India via Flipkart for INR13,999 ($ ​​175 / € 175). It is unclear why Oppo launched the A57e in India when the A57 4G is also sold for the same price via its official website (even lower on Amazon.in) with the same amount of RAM and storage. archiving.
