Oppo announced today that it will launch ColorOS 13 globally on August 18th. The event will start at 11:00 UTC and will be broadcast live on the company’s official YouTube channel and on social media.

ColorOS 13 is based on Android 13 and, says Oppo, “integrates the underlying security and privacy features of Android 13 and provides similar customizations to Google’s Material You.”

Additionally, ColorOS 13 will be available with a new design and functionality tailored to deliver a better experience on large displays and provide seamless interconnectivity between multiple devices for greater efficiency and productivity.

We don’t know when the stable version of ColorOS 13 will be launched, but those who own Oppo Find N, Find X5 or Find X5 Pro and live in China, Australia, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates or Vietnam can sign up for beta of ColorOS 13 if you don’t want to wait for the release of the stable version.
