Recently there have been rumors about the first devices fed by the next snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset in late September and that the SoC itself would have been revealed before its predecessor, which was announced last October.
Today during his presentation Computex, Qualcomm confirmed that his next Snapdragon summit will take place from 23 to 25 September. Snapdragon’s summit is the annual event during which the company reveals its latest and largest Snapdragon chip, so it has been resolved.
With this in mind, wait for the Chinese flagship fogge smartphones to use it to be announced from late September to early October for the internal market. Since the temporal sequence has moved, we would not be surprised if their global launches took place before before.
This will leave Samsung in a rather embarrassing position as it is said to launch its next generation folds at the beginning of July-Solo three months before the chipset they use will open.
