Realme introduced the GT Neo 3 150W a few months back and followed it up with the Naruto Edition, which comes in Naruto-themed packaging and sports a Japanese ninja-inspired design. But this is not the only GT Neo 3 special edition that Realme launched this year since the young brand partnered with Marvel Studios for Realme GT Neo 3 150W Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition. We got one from Realme, so here’s what it’s all about.
The Realme GT Neo 3 150W Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition comes in a special packaging that is shorter but wider than the regular model’s retail box. It also has the Mjolnir printed on it along with the Realme and Thor: Love and Thunder movie logos.
Opening the box, you see the inside of the lid featuring Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster/Mighty Thor.
And inside, we have the Realme GT Neo 3 150W Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition placed on the inside lid of the box along with a SIM eject tool inspired by the Stormbreaker wielded by Thor in the film.
Lift the door-style lid and you get a USB-C charging cable and 160W power supply on the right side and a small box on the left side containing the protective case, the usual phone documentation and some stickers.
Underneath that box is a Mjolnir-inspired medal and a couple of cards, one featuring Thor and Foster.
The medal has the smartphone name and slogan on one side and the Mjolnir design on the other. It is well built and has a decent weight.
These are all the goodies inspired by the movie Thor: Love and Thunder that came with the smartphone
The phone itself, however, isn’t as deeply customized as the Naruto Edition, which had a different design and Naruto-inspired UI theme with custom icons, sounds, and a charging animation.
Whoever holds this smartphone will be worthy of it, it will have the charging power of 150W.
The Realme X Spider-Man Edition (hands-on) launched in 2019 also came with special wallpapers and icons along with a good quality rubberized phone case with the Spider-Man: Far From Home movie logo.
Realme GT Neo 3 150W Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition is just the regular GT Neo 3 150W Nitro Blue version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, which comes in a special retail package. Once removed from the packaging you will not be able to distinguish it from a standard version. Realme said it would come with a wallpaper based on the film, but we don’t see it on our unit.
Can you tell which is the Realme GT Neo 3 150W and which is the Realme GT Neo 3 150W Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition?
On the upside, the Realme GT Neo 3 150W Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition costs as much as the regular GT Neo 3 150W with the same amount of RAM and storage: ₹42,999 ($520/€490). So given the richer retail package, it makes a lot of sense to get it if you find a unit.
The Realme GT Neo 3 150W Thor Love and Thunder Limited Edition is currently only available in India through Realme official website, Flipkart and major stores and is unlikely to launch elsewhere.
