Introduction and specifications
With the unexpected surge in demand for tablets following the pandemic, smartphone makers were set to try their luck once again in a market segment that was once thought to be dying out. Realme is no exception and its latest offering is Realme Pad X. It seems like a productivity-oriented solution for the masses, but unfortunately it’s an India-only device. And we mean it in the best possible way – it’s a shame that such a beautiful tablet isn’t available globally. Read on to understand why.

Realme Pad X sports a relatively large 10.95-inch display and a relatively powerful Snapdragon 695 SoC for everyday tasks and multitasking. Realme offers a pressure-sensitive stylus and a magnetic keyboard to go with it. So, if you don’t need a full-fledged laptop, Realme Pad X is a very plausible solution.

In addition to said hardware, the Pad X draws power from a fairly large 8,340 mAh battery, promising many hours of battery life. The large battery is integrated with a fast 33W Dart Charge.
In case a connection is needed at all times, the Pad X is also offered as a cellular model – with 5G, mind you, also having a GPS receiver – a rare feature on a mid-range tablet.
Despite its relatively affordable price, Realme Pad X offers a premium build, even if it feels a little heavy in the hand. Some users will certainly find it interesting as this feature is often perceived as proof of high quality build.

However, there are a few options to browse in the same price range, so join us on the next few pages to find out if Realme Pad X is the right tablet for you.
Unpack the Realme Pad X
The device comes in a standard, albeit relatively compact (for a tablet) package containing the usual user manuals and a 33W charger with a USB-A to USB-C cable.

The Smart Bluetooth Keyboard Cover and Realme Pencil are both sold separately, but we purchased them as part of our review kit.
