A new report adds credibility to previous rumors that Samsung will indeed hold its Galaxy S24 Unpacked event in mid-January and in the United States.
The Korean newspaper report Biz SBS lists January 17 as the specific date for the event. Interestingly, insider Ice universe they suggested a date for the event of January 18th, but with the time difference between China and the US they may both be correct.
Samsung is reportedly looking to launch the Galaxy S24 to boost its revenue after slowing semiconductor sales.
Additionally, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S23 FE in South Korea on December 1, priced at KRW 800,000 (€570, INR 50,500, converted). It is the first Galaxy S FE model sold in Samsung’s home market since 2020.
