As the foldable device market matures, manufacturers are looking for a way to offer more affordable versions of their phones. Motorola first rolled out this year with its Motorola Razr 40, but for now, Samsung is sticking to its annual Galaxy Z Flip and Fold releases. That’s about to change next year, according to a report by Revegnus — a tipster who shared some spicy information about upcoming Samsung camera sensors.

Following next year’s Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, Samsung is looking to release Fan Edition versions of the duo. That doesn’t mean they’ll be available as early as next year, but it looks like we’ll see them sooner rather than later.

The report also suggests that Samsung will focus more on its Fan Edition sub-branding starting with the expected Galaxy S23 FE, meaning the company will start releasing Fan Edition devices more regularly.
