We got our hands on the new Samsung Galaxy A24 so let’s do an unboxing. Like the rest of Samsung’s midrange range, the A24 comes with nothing more than a cable in its box.

The Galaxy A24 packs a decent punch for its very reasonable price: Upfront, there’s a 6.5-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution, inside is a 6-inch MediaTek Helio G99 nm with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM, plus a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging (but you’ll need to get your own charger).
The phone is made of plastic and is reasonably heavy at 195g. That weight makes the phone feel solidly put together. However, our unit has a very loud power button. That may not be a problem, but as it stands, it’s obvious to an experienced carrier.
The display has typical AMOLED deep contrast and punchy output. However, he struggles in a very bright light.

Our unit is Lime Green and similar to the Galaxy A34 has a youthful look.
The Galaxy A24 embodies the Galaxy design language with a minimalist front and back, interrupted only by the cameras. It works for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, so it should work for the A24.
We’ve started our review of the Galaxy A24 and will publish it next week – stick around!
