Information on one of Samsung’s most anticipated midrangers, the Galaxy A55, is quite scarce GalaxyClub the latest results lay a good foundation for upcoming entries. After all, if Samsung sticks to its schedule, the A55 should arrive around March next year. Sources close to the publication have unearthed the handset’s SoC and main camera specifications.

Samsung is reportedly carrying out an internal test of the Galaxy A55 with a model number SoC S5E8845, which we believe is the as-yet-unannounced Exynos 1480 chip. This is because Exynos 1380 and 1280 carry model numbers S5E8835 AND S5E8825, respectively. And these chipsets power the Galaxy A54 and A53.
The interesting thing about the upcoming Exynos 1480 SoC is that it could offer an AMD GPU. A rumor from earlier this month suggests that Samsung is working closely with AMD to provide AMD graphics to improve performance in image processing and AI-related tasks. This report, however, is not yet confirmed.
Finally, according to the leak, there are no changes in the camera department and the Galaxy A55 is expected to come with the same 50MP main camera as its predecessor.
