The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G launched in 2021 with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 is receiving stable update One UI 5.1 based on Android 13.
The update has firmware version M426BXXU4DWB1 and requires a download of approximately 1GB. It comes with the usual One UI 5.1 goodies and the February 2023 Android security patch.
The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy M42 5G is currently being seeded in India, but the rollout is expected to expand to other countries soon. If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check it manually by going to your phone’s update Settings > Software update menu.
