Samsung recently released the October 2022 Android security patch for the Galaxy S21 and S22 series smartphones in select markets and now it is the Galaxy S21 FE that receives the latest security patch with a new software update.
The update comes with firmware version G990EXXU3CVI8 and is currently being seeded in India for Galaxy S21 FE units with model designation SM-G990E. However, the rollout is expected to extend to other regions soon.
If you live in India and have not yet received the update on your Galaxy S21 FE, you can check it manually by going to the smartphone page Settings > Software update menu.
