The June 2023 major camera update released by Samsung for the Galaxy S23 series in Asian countries last week is now available in Europe for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The update comes with firmware version S91xBXXU2AWF1 and weighs in at 2.2GB, so be sure to download it over a Wi-Fi connection to avoid further mobile data charges from your carrier.
June 2023 update raises Android security patch level on Galaxy S23 trio to June 2023, but most importantly fixes camera autofocus issues, improves Night Mode processing and adds 2x zoom option to portrait mode in the default camera app.

Additionally, the June update brings smoother One UI transition animations and haptic feedback improvements. It should also address HDR issues that the default Camera app faces under certain lighting conditions.
If you live in Europe and you have not received this update on your Galaxy S23 smartphone, you can check it manually by accessing your phone’s page Settings > Software update menu.
More regions will receive this update in the coming weeks. However, according to tipster Ice universe, China and South Korea will have different version of AWF1 firmware with multiple optimizations.
