Samsung released the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable update for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) last month, and now it’s the 2022 model that has a taste of Android 13 and One UI 5.0.
The update is rolling out for the LTE model (SM-P615) and has firmware version P615XXU4FWA5. It comes with a new taskbar for your tablet and improves multi-tasking. The update also brings an updated lock screen customization menu and performance optimizations to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.
However, the One UI 5.0 update comes with the security patch dated November 2022 when some Samsung devices have already started receiving the January 2023 security patch.
Additionally, the update is currently only being seeded in France, but the rollout is expected to expand to other countries soon. The Wi-Fi model (SM-P610) is also expected to receive One UI 5.0 soon.
If you live in France and you still haven’t received One UI 5.0 on your Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, you can check it manually by accessing the tablet page Settings > Software update menu.
