The One UI 5 Watch update Samsung released for the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro in South Korea last week is now available for both watches in Europe. It is in the seeding stage for their Bluetooth models, but LTE versions should receive it soon.
The update has firmware version R9xxXXU1BWH3 and requires a download of approximately 1.7GB for the vanilla model. You can check out the changelog screenshots below to see what the update brings to last year’s Samsung watches.

If you haven’t yet received the One UI 5 Watch update on your Samsung Galaxy Watch5 or Galaxy Watch5 Pro, you can manually check for it by going to Clock settings > Watch the software update menu on the Galaxy Watch home page in the Samsung Galaxy Wearable app.
