Last November, we heard that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 coming this year will have the same battery capacity as the Galaxy Z Flip3. But, a new report from the Dutch publication Galaxy Club claims that the Galaxy Z Flip4 will contain a slightly larger battery.
The publication states that the Galaxy Z Flip4 (SM-F721) will ship with two batteries, with model numbers EB-BF721ABY and EB-BF722ABY. The former is called internally by Samsung “secondary battery” and is the larger of the two with a nominal capacity of 2,400 mAh, while the second is the main battery with a nominal capacity of 903 mAh.

This brings the total rated capacity to 3,303mAh, which is 103mAh more than the Galaxy Z Flip3’s total rated capacity, meaning the Flip4’s typical battery size will be around 3,400mAh (Flip3 is 3,300mAh).
This isn’t a big improvement, and it remains to be seen how much extra battery life Samsung will be able to offer over the Galaxy Z Flip3, which achieved an endurance score of 69 hours in our battery tests.
There are still a few months left to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip4, but you can expect to learn more ahead of the official announcement.
