Samsung has rolled out a new software update for the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, bringing new camera features to its latest folds. Features already introduced in the Galaxy S22 such as night photography in Portrait mode and telephoto camera support in Pro mode are the key changes, as well as some third-party improvements.
Video calls on WhatsApp, Google Meets and Duo, Microsoft Teams, Facebook Messenger, Zoom, BlueJeans are now sharper, thanks to Samsung’s improved camera support. The Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 also get the function of detecting the zoom in and out of up to 10 people in a video, as long as they are within five meters of the phone.
The update is being seeded in Germany and Italy and is expected to reach other regions soon. The firmware version is F926BXXU1CVEB for Fold3 and F711BXXU2CVEB for Flip3 and can also be activated manually in the Software Update menu in Settings.
