Samsung is bringing new colors to the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 smartphones, an industry insider posted on Twitter. Ross Young of DSCC has revealed that the Korean manufacturer will not continue with the green paint job, and instead will introduce a Beige option of the Fold and a light blue variant of the Flip.
The Black and Gray choices for the Z Fold4 aren’t new – we had them on the Z Fold3, although they were called Phantom Black and Phantom Silver. Looking at the shell, the black is getting lighter to the point of being gray, the cream option will be called Gold and the lavender will remain.
Last year Samsung did some device-exclusive paint jobs, bought from its online store, and some users even got the option to mix and match panels with hinges. We expect these exclusive offerings and features to remain as they put the Korean manufacturer ahead of its competitors, especially as more and more foldable phones are arriving on the market.
