Introduction and specifications

After a couple of years of stagnation, Samsung returned to the track. Galaxy Z Fold7 this year offers real updates and improvements in the key areas that were missing in previous generations. Updates don’t stop there. The new Z FOLD is equipped with better cameras as it borrows the ISOCELL HP2 200 MP sensor of Galaxy S25 Ultra. The auxiliary cameras are the same, but the ultrawide now supports autofocus and which unlocks tight concentration.

In addition, the internal camera is now the same as the external one – 10 MP, which is a solid update compared to the 4 MP last year. Even more important, the internal selfie cam is equipped with an ultrawide goal with a significantly wider visual field.

Despite the decrease in weight and thickness, Z Fold7 presents the same capacity as the battery last year – 4,400 mAh, supporting family charging rates at 25 W wired and wireless 15 W.

Last but not least, the folding of this year from the launch of Samsung with a new UI 8, instead of offering only an incremental update to the operating system. Even more important, the only UI 8 is based on Android 16 still not allowed, which makes the folding of this year the first devices to perform Android 16 out of the box.
